OMG! So many clarinets!

So, I found this demo of ALL the clarinets on youtube. Some here I didn't know existed! Take a look:

A handy reference, but they are missing a couple:
1. OctoContrabass: Only one of these ever made, sitting in a museum in Paris I think
2. G Clarinet - about the same size as the A Bassett Horn - also referred to as a "Turkish Clarinet".

And the unlisted one doesn't really count :)

Another bit of trivia: Only three OctoContraAltos were built, don't know where they are and when I tried to track down the one used in the video (some time ago) I didn't get a response.

FWIW: I've got a couple of these in my collection: ContraBass, ContraAlto, Bass, Alto, A, Bb, C, Eb and Ab ...

G clarinets are quite common

A D clarinet is on my wish list (although I couldn't tell you why :) )

I would like to consider a Bassett Horn (in F, I'll skip the one in A) but that's not going to be any time soon.

Wonderful instrument, eh?
